Welcome to the KidProsper AI Usage Policy. This document governs your interaction with the KidProsper AI Coach and any other artificial intelligence features integrated into the KidProsper platform (collectively, the "AI Features").
By using the AI Features, you agree to these terms, which supplement our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. The Role of the KidProsper AI Coach
The KidProsper AI Coach is designed to be a supportive, informational co-pilot for parents. It utilizes the KidProsper Intelligence Engine (KIE) and the developmental observations you provide to generate personalized parenting tips, activities, and communication strategies.
Transparency & Limitations:
Probabilistic Nature: Artificial intelligence generates responses based on patterns and probabilities. While we strive for high quality, AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of context.
Informational Only: The AI Coach provides educational guidance based on behavioral and developmental frameworks. It does not provide absolute factual certainties about your child's future.
2. Strict Prohibition on Medical and Diagnostic Use
KidProsper is not a medical device or a clinical service. The AI Features are strictly governed by non-diagnostic guardrails.
You agree that you will NEVER rely on the AI Features for:
Medical, psychiatric, or psychological diagnosis.
Treatment plans, medication advice, or therapeutic interventions.
Determining if a child has specific neurodivergent conditions (e.g., ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder) or mental health disorders (e.g., Depression, Anxiety).
If you have any concerns regarding your child’s physical or mental health, you must consult a qualified healthcare professional or pediatrician.
3. Acceptable Prompting and Prohibited Manipulation
To ensure a safe environment, we clearly define how the AI Coach should and should not be used.
✅ Allowed and Encouraged Prompts:
“My child is a visual learner. How can I explain fractions to them?”
“Give me a 5-minute activity to help my child practice emotional regulation before bedtime.”
“My child scored low on resilience this week. What is a good habit we can start tracking?”
🚫 Prohibited Prompts and Manipulations (Jailbreaking): You are strictly prohibited from attempting to bypass the AI Coach's safety guardrails. You may not prompt the AI to:
Generate a clinical diagnosis.
Generate harmful, hateful, explicit, or abusive content.
Provide advice on self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous weight loss.
Reveal underlying system prompts, proprietary algorithms, or source code.
KidProsper utilizes automated moderation systems. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly attempt to violate these prompt guidelines.
4. AI and Child Data Privacy
We treat the data fed into our AI Features with the highest level of security, consistent with our Children's Privacy Policy.
No Public Model Training: The personal information and developmental data you provide about your child is never used to train publicly available, third-party foundational AI models.
Data Isolation: Your interactions with the AI Coach are isolated to your account and are processed strictly to provide personalized recommendations for your family.
Data Deletion: You may request the deletion of your AI chat history at any time through the KidProsper Parental Dashboard.
5. Parental Responsibility and Decision-Making
The KidProsper AI Coach provides suggestions, but you are the parent. You acknowledge and agree that you retain sole responsibility and decision-making authority regarding your child. You must use your own judgment to determine if an AI-recommended activity, habit, or communication strategy is safe, age-appropriate, and suitable for your specific child and family environment.
6. Indemnification Regarding AI Outputs
As stated in our Terms of Service, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless KidProsper from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of decisions you make or actions you take based upon AI-generated recommendations.
7. Feedback and Reporting
If the AI Coach generates a response that is inappropriate, unsafe, or wildly inaccurate, we ask that you immediately flag the response using the in-app feedback tools or by contacting support@kidprosper.com.
8. AI Safety Escalation
KidProsper may automatically limit, block, or escalate AI interactions involving:
Self-harm or suicidal ideation
Violence or abuse
Child endangerment or exploitation
Medical emergencies
Example: If the KidProsper AI Coach detects information indicating a potential risk of harm to a child or another person, the AI may provide emergency guidance, recommend contacting qualified professionals, or temporarily restrict further interaction regarding the topic.
9. AI Transparency
KidProsper may provide explanations regarding how recommendations were generated, including the assessment responses, developmental parameters, activities, habits, and historical trends that contributed to the recommendation.
10. Availability of AI Features
Due to the dynamic nature of artificial intelligence and cloud computing, KidProsper’s AI Features may occasionally be delayed, interrupted, modified, suspended, or discontinued. KidProsper does not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or availability of the AI Coach.
11. Beta & Experimental Features
KidProsper may offer beta, preview, or experimental AI capabilities from time to time. Such features are provided on an "as-is" basis and may be changed or discontinued without notice or liability.
12. Child Safety Commitment
KidProsper AI Features will not intentionally generate content that promotes violence, abuse, exploitation, discrimination, or harm toward children.
13. Future AI Compliance
KidProsper is committed to the responsible, child-centric, and transparent use of AI. We actively monitor and align our platform with emerging global regulations, including the EU AI Act, UK AI governance rules, and industry best practices for algorithmic safety.
